ILP #1 Design- Digital Story Telling

This help give me the tools and guidance to create my own digital story, along with  "50 Ways to Tell a Story". The story is about a young boy, named Edgar and a young girl named Eva, who are best friends and share a book together. Edgar keeps the book in safe hiding but then realizes he lost it, only then to find it just in the nick of time before Eva comes, and they head to the park! This project was fun and allowed me to think creatively and use a tool that I had never used before!

Blog Journal #10 (Thank you Ginny, You rock!)  I think as teacher, especially one who has just started their career, it is important to get feedback from students on certain thing you do in the classroom. This way, you can improve for future students and understand why some thing do or do not work for students. I have noticed here at Florida State, that we have to participate in surveys the end of the semester which ask you questions bout the class and professor  I think this is a great way to get an idea of what the students might think of the class overall. In my classroom, since I plan on doing early childhood education, I think that surveys can be used in subject areas like math to create data and bar graphs. Adaptive technologies are technologies and applications that are meant to help student with specific learning needs and extrinites learn to the best of their ability. They support learners as they are meant to help students grow and succeed in the best way possible through various technologies that are meant to cater to each students unique needs. I think some challenges that these adaptive technolgies pose for students, especially in the younger grades, is that students may feel that they arent all getting the same treatment or oppurtunties. While it is great for learning, students may be sensitive to the fact that everyones challanges and needs are different, which can be a hard concept to grasp at a young age.
