Since the creation of our twitter pages, I have enjoyed being able to see other class members thoughts and feelings as we move through the semester. I found that we have a lot of similar ideas about things like the technology sandbox and the projects we have done in class. I think the twitters are great for communicating outside the classroom. The only issue I have had is not being able to completely explain myself, since there is a limited amount of characters, it can be hard to describe my thoughts on certain things. 

The webpage I created was through wix. I have created a website before for a previous class, and I thought it was simple, easy, and manageable. I like learning how to truly design a page and be creative. I have a long ways to go on the webpage, but I am making progress. I was able to learn a lot through trial and error, seeing how things look, the different colors to use, and C.R.A.P.! (gets me every time . I look forward to making my page look better and better, just as I would for my future students. 

I was a bit confused about Digo at first. Once I got the hang of it I loved it. I think its great tool for people to share various pages and sources with a clear description. I also think that the highlighting tool was very useful as well, it made finding important lines and inofrmation much easier and accessible.

   The technology standards of today are important for not only the student, but the teacher as well. There is a much higher demand for technology literacy than ever before and with that educators are expected to meet certain technology based standards and have specific certifications. Since I struggled in school with learning how to read and had trouble staying focused, I understand that different students have different needs when it comes to learning. I want to give every student the opportunity to thrive and be successful in the classroom. ILP #2 "design"- Prezi

I have always loved how writing allows people to express themselves through creative language and is something I look forward to doing with my future students.  This presentation goes over some of the basic aspects of creative writing and includes tips, videos, pictures, and prompts to get students started on their own masterpieces.

ILP #1 Design- Digital Story Telling

http://zimmertwinsatschool.com/node/157196?designated=new I decided to make a digital story by using the Web 2.0 application, zimmer. This help give me the tools and guidance to create my own digital story, along with  "50 Ways to Tell a Story". The story is about a young boy, named Edgar and a young girl named Eva, who are best friends and share a book together. Edgar keeps the book in safe hiding but then realizes he lost it, only then to find it just in the nick of time before Eva comes, and they head to the park! This project was fun and allowed me to think creatively and use a tool that I had never used before!
