The technology standards of today are important for not only the student, but the teacher as well. There is a much higher demand for technology literacy than ever before and with that educators are expected to meet certain technology based standards and have specific certifications. Since I struggled in school with learning how to read and had trouble staying focused, I understand that different students have different needs when it comes to learning. I want to give every student the opportunity to thrive and be successful in the classroom. I think the use of apps and the different technology is it a great way to be able to tend to students educational needs. I am a bit unsure about the specific ELA technology standards I would be able to teach most confidently. Technology is not only helpful and efficiant, but also serves as a way to get students to be more actively involved within the classroom. Through technology, students are able to participate and use the tools they are given to learn, but in a more creative and interesting way. This is not only helpful to the students, but is also very helpful to the teachers who are trying to teach the students in the most efficient manor.        The skill set that was important to me, based off of the ISTE standard was creative communicator. Communication has always been my strong suit. While I lack more in the areas involving technology and critical thinking, I tend to do very well when it comes to communication  Whether it be face-to-face, in front of a crowd, or through social media...
